We’re on the hunt for a talented Digital Designer with a smattering of animation & video skills too.

We’re looking for a creative problem solver & a natural collaborator who can work closely with other creative team members and digital designers at Multiply to create effective online content, social media graphics, website banners, and smaller video and animation projects for our very broad (and pretty exciting!) list of clients.
Our Dream Candidate
You will have worked within an agency environment for 3-4 years, & should be able to efficiently combine creativity, UX, functionality, and technology to produce eye-catching and informative website design and online content.
You’ll work well with minimal direction but you’re big on collaboration; you stand up for the users' needs, and you thrive in a fast-paced environment. Being able to apply your video and animation skills to client requests for online social content would be ideal.
In this role, organisational and technical skills are key, and you must possess in-depth knowledge of digital design and animation software programs included in the Adobe Suite, specifically Premier & After Effects for motion graphics, with additional knowledge in digital prototyping software i.e. Sketch, Figma, XD a big bonus.
Key Skills & Experience
At least 3-4 years of previous working experience within the creative or marketing industry, designing for digital.
Strong visual design aesthetic and ability.
Apply a design-led approach to solve client problems.
Have knowledge of current web trends and technology.
Ability to develop wireframes and functional specifications.
Create user interface designs and interactive prototypes for a large range of platforms and devices.
Assist in the scoping and planning of UX projects, & able to mock-up design ideas to solve usability issues quickly.
Be able to storyboard any video/motion graphics requests for approvals where required.
A strong portfolio demonstrating excellence in digital design/UX, wireframing and content animation.
Attitude & Approach
You’ll have confidence in sharing and communicating designs for review and feedback, either remotely or in our hub office, face-to-face.
A “no project too big or too small” attitude.
Be a collaborative team player with excellent communication (verbal & written) skills including presentation & interpersonal skills.
Be proactive and bring ideas and opinion to the table for current clients and prospective clients to enhance the work we currently do.
Have a desire to learn, and expand your skills at every opportunity.
Nice to haves:
• A fundamental understanding of HTML/CSS and digital interaction.
• Prototyping experience.
• Passion for design/photography for applying to online content.
• Strong conceptual and information design skills.
The Role (Edinburgh Based)
